Best times to Visit
If you would like to spend a more peaceful, relaxing time outdoors, then a good time to visit would be during the day. But, if you prefer a more happening time, then weekends would be an ideal time. My favorite time to visit peddlers’ village is in winter because it is laden with lights, looks fully alive and vibrant.
I also visited the village on a weekday and it is not crowded as it is during the night, it was so calm that I was able to get some pictures, relax and sightsee. But, I definitely prefer the nighttime because of the lights and cheerful people, the place looked and felt alive.
Places to eat
A fun day trip to Peddlers Village wouldn’t be complete without food. And, Peddlers village has five (5) full-service restaurants that are really busy during dinner time, and most have an hour wait time ( but you can use that time to shop around) or plan ahead and reserve your table. My favorite place to eat is Buttonwood grill, a good place if you are craving burgers, they also have thin-crust pizzas and they offer specials depending on the season. My favorite pizza from their place is Grandma Mia (which has a good amount of mozzarella cheese and pesto). Another great place to eat at is Hart’s Tavern, this place has a good choice of burgers and sandwiches.
