Yay, it’s the Pumpkin Spice Season, and everything from here on is going to be pumpkin spice. And in the spirit of fall, I will be sharing with you a fun easy pumpkin spice latte that is Starbuck’s favorite and can easily be homemade. Personally, I like homemade better as I can control the sugar and calorie on the drink than what Starbucks would plus its saves you bucks!
I enjoy Starbucks but have no control over sugar and calories. So, here is my take on the best Latte comparable to Starbucks that I can luckily control the ingredients and sugar intake. And the Pumpkin Spice Latte tastes just as good.

- 1/4 Cup Coffee or 2 Shots Espresso
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1-2 TBSP Maple Syrup or Sugar or Honey
- 1 Tsp Pumpkin Spice
- 2 TBSP Pumpkin Puree
Instructions
- Make your coffee as desired and set aside on slow heat so it just hot whn needed
- In a separate pot, add milk, honey (or any sweetener of your choice), pumpkin spice, and pumpkin puree. Combine ingredients and set on the stove to simmer
- Once the milk comes to a simmer, remove it from the stove and beat using a frother. once it starts to foam, separate foam using a spoon and set it aside for topping
- Take a large mug, add 1/4 cup or more of coffee (2 shots per 16 oz). And then fill the cup with the prepared milk and top that with foam and pumpkin spice
If you are a coffee fan, add as much coffee as you like but in a traditional latte, you will only need 2 shots for 16oz coffee. For Pumpkin spice if you do not have the store-bought, you can easily make pumpkin spice at home by mixing :
1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg Powder
1/4 Tsp Ginger Powder
Pinch or more of Clove powder
Mix all the above ingredients and you will have your own homemade pumpkin spice that you can use for all your fall recipes
